When ordering from bunches you get the option of royal mail or paying extra for guaranteed courier delivery. I paid the extra. Delivery came on Saturday morning when I was in the shower. The POSTMAN put a card through the door saying they had taken it back to the sorting office and delivery would be made on Monday. Contacted bunches to find out why it had been sent by royal mail. Was told that it had been sent by RM Courier service and that it was bunches policy that plants and flowers should be taken back to the sorting office. Why the hell would you do that? So a plant was going to sit over the weekend uncared for and allowed to go dry. That's why I chose courier - all the couriers that come here have the common sense to take undelivered parcels to neighbours. When delivery finally arrived on Monday it was delivered by my regular postman. Not TM Courier. So bunches are basically ripping people off with additional delivery charges. Attempts to get a satisfactory response from bunches have failed. Basically call centre staff reading from a script. Will go elsewhere next time where hopefully the customer service will get more professional.
