I ordered the flowers to be delivered on the 4th April to a colleague at the school we work at. I had received no tracking link by 9:30, so rang customer services. I was told by the extremely helpful team member that the date was in fact a 24 hour window. I was helpfully told that someone at the delivery depot would notice that it was a school address and have the sense to deliver in time. I obviously didn't read the small print! I started panicking as school would be closed for the following two weeks as it was the start of the Easter holidays. I then received the tracking link and had a nerve wracking day watching the time slot get later and later, latest time being 7.00 pm!
My colleague had to be told that the 'surprise' flowers had been delayed. Fortunately they eventually arrived at 4.00 pm and luckily my colleague hadn't yet left, but it took the surprise element away and ruined what was our last day working as a team.
