"Recently we sent flowers etc to our friend who has very recently lost her husband.
We ordered two days before the specific delivery date which we thought would be plenty of time to deliver, Thursday, this week, and waited for confirmation of sent delivery which did not come.
We phoned and emailed the company who said we had not read the web page properly where it was clearly stated no tracking available via and Royal Mail cannot track everything. They will track for companies and do so.
We were upset at the time we ordered and had not taken this information in nor read it.
But it appears others did likewise from the reviews. Royal Mail will track as I have plenty of tracked packages for half the price of these flowers. It is common courtesy and sense if you run a business to oversee the customers goods are sent and delivered. How on earth do you claim compensation if no one has any idea where the flowers are, if they arrived and what condition. I am appalled by Bunches response. They even said they would ring the recipient for me to see if the flowers arrived if I gave them her private number. I refused. She is not answering her phone she is grieving and is actually arranging a funeral.
We spent a great deal on these flowers etc and so far the company will not take responsibility for potential delivery. (I still do not know if they arrived) even our dentist and doctors use a text service for appts. so why not Bunches? It is commonplace to inform customers of deliveries...
We contacted the company by phone and email they did respond but it seems to me that they don't take responsibility via Royal Mail or via themselves to oversee delivery. We just wanted to empathise and sympathise with our friend who lives a long long way away. It must be a great way to do business for Bunches.
Will never use Bunches again and will be happier to go to a local florist.

"Hija I use bunches quite often. I love the flowers and the service and particular the fact that they use ten percent of their profits for aid initiatives in the developing world. I think the envelope flowers is a great idea too. However from comments I have gor back, my friends miss the free chocs you used to give and the white gypsum is consistently so short that it does not match with the flowers which is a real pity when everything else is so good.
