“The recipient was eventually pleased with the flowers. I had sent them to her place of work, and thought as they were delivered by Royal mail they would arrive as a surprise when she was working. Unfortunately not. The delivery did not arrive until nearly six o'clock and the flowers had to be left with a neighbour! Perhaps a different carrier might deliver earlier? Just a thought”

We're really sorry to hear this, and understand how disappointing it is when a birthday delivery doesn't land the way you'd hoped. We do want to be upfront that our couriers deliver up until 7:30pm, so an evening arrival falls within our normal delivery window rather than being a delay on our part, we do advise our delivery times in our terms. We'd also gently mention that our flowers are sent out still in bud, so they'll need a few days in water to fully bloom.
