“Although it says they are sold in bud, they look really pathetic, and if you are giving them as a gift then they look very sad and cheap. A week later they look a little better but still nothing like the photo on the website.”

We completely understand how disappointing it must have been, especially when sending them as a gift. You're absolutely right that flowers sent in bud can look quite different from our website photos initially. We do send many of our flowers this way to protect them during delivery and give them the longest possible vase life.
