The ordering process was good. Delivery was not good and the flowers were only delivered 3 days after despatch. As they are fresh flowers they lost days of their life before getting to the recipient. I’ve not had this problem with other companies.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear your gift didn't arrive on your preferred delivery date. The Royal Mail 24 service is based on a 1-2 working day delivery with 95% of gifts arriving on the date selected. We can see from the tracking information that the flowers arrived on the 2nd day. We do recommend that an upgraded courier service is selected if a guaranteed date is required. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment caused. Kind Regards - Bunches

Very disappointed. I ordered a bouquet for a friend's birthday. I chose a bouquet this year, because the pot plant from Bunches last year arrived with the earth all inside the box. Unfortunately, this year was no better, with the flowers not at all fresh and some stems broken. What made matters worse was that the delivery driver from DPD told my friend to 'hurry up' - not always easy for an older person. The customer service experience has not improved either. My complaint last year was answered, this year nothing. Could it be that ordering plants/flowers between Christmas and New Year is a problem? If so, the answer is simple, don't bother selling them. Bunches is no longer my first choice for flowers. A pity.

Bought a spray of carnations from them on 17/12/23 for £23.94. Speed of delivery was OK considering the time of year. The flowers were not. I received the number of stems they promised and put them in a vase of water with the supplied flower food upon receipt. The flowers opened up but not by much. In desperation I went to my local florist whom supplied me with the same number of stems which were in much better condition for £20.00. Given what I paid my local florist and comparing the condition of both sets of flowers it is clear my local florist would've charged me £15.00 for the flowers supplied by Bunches as opposed to the £23.94 charged by Bunches. Lesson learned - don't buy anything more from Bunches.

I asked for flowers to be delivered on Saturday 23rd but didn’t arrive until the following Wednesday. Was not happy with the service provided.

Requested a delivery of Christmas flowers to be delivered on Christmas Eve, they were eventually delivered on the 27th December by the Royal Mail. Not impressed and won’t use them again.

I purchased orchids to be sent to a friend of mine for Christmas, which I sent her on several occasions previously. I have always found them to be of an extremely high standard and lasting for weeks. On this occasion, I was very disappointed in them. They were mostly out rather than in bud, and some of the flowers were dropping, which is very unusual for Bunches as I have always been very pleased with the service and standard of the flowers.

Thought I had ordered as a formed bouquet (as per the description) and not flowers being delivered in a flowers-by-post letterbox style pack, so fairly disappointed.

My 99year old mother in law was disappointed with this year's flowers, we have sent her some for several years and this is first time she wasn't happy.

I was disappointed in the festive flowers that I received. It said that the droopiness occurred in the packaging would rectify itself after a few hrs. Sadly this never happened and after day 2 some of the stems had to be discarded.

Having ordered several flower arrangements and plants over the years I was very disappointed to learn that our last order was not in good condition. I order from Canada to Northern Ireland and it is a special gift for my motherinlaw who is in a care home. I feel very hesitant to place further orders with your company.

Ordered the Christmas bouquet for my Mum. She sent me a photo to say thanks and it looked like half of it was missing. Emailed to complain and just got a generic reply. I have previously ordered and had lovely flowers but maybe Christmas just isn’t the right time to buy. Certainly wouldn’t bother again

Very disappointed - I made identical 2 orders to 2 separate but nearby addresses for delivery on 18 December. One was delivered with no problem - the other never happened. When I hadn't got a delivery receipt for the second one (#1550 1012 035 466K), I tracked it on the DPD link, to find that it merely stated "We have received your order details, but have not yet received your parcel". I then phoned Bunches Customer Services, who acknowledged there was a problem. The agent, who didn't really apologise, offered a refund or a replacement to be sent - but then stated that the hamper I had ordered was now out of stock, and that any alternative choice would now no longer be able to be delivered before Christmas. As the recipients were away after Christmas, that was not an option, so I had to accept the refund. But because I was unable to get out of the house and buy and deliver an alternate gift myself, I am deeply saddened that my friends consequently received nothing. It's possible that DPD were the culprits (despite claiming they never received it) as they are the most useless courier service on the planet, but ultimately Bunches failed me (and my friends) and a two-star rating (for the 1 successful order) is probably a bit generous.

Thank you for your review. We are so very sorry that your gift was not delivered. As a postal company we do rely on couriers to ensure our gifts are delivered safely. Unfortunately, they have severely let us down on this occasion. We have since made a complaint with the courier company and their lack of service. Unfortunately, the hamper that you had originally ordered had sold out, therefore we were unable to offer you the same hamper as a replacement.
