I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my Mum, for delivery on Saturday 19th September, but she received them on Friday 18th September. The website said chocolates were included - I didn't expect them to be a bag of 'chocolate' buttons. I didn't expect a big box, I thought it would be a small box of 4 or 6 'delicate or special' chocolates. All in all I was not impressed and will not be recommended them to friends or colleagues. I would however be interested in your response or comments. Regards Deb Miles

Having looked into your order further I can see that you opted for the free First Class post delivery which takes 1-2 working days to deliver. We cannot guarantee any specific dates unless the courier is paid for. We do ask a preferred delivery date then we send out 2 working days prior this date if possible, so that a special occasion is not missed. With regards to the free chocolates I apologise if you did not like these. We do include a detailed description and photograph of them on our product pages so our customers know exactly what to expect. You can however opt out to not have these included in your order in the checkout stage of the order process. Please accept my apologies again for the upset and disappointment this has caused.

I have been a good customer for Bunches and although am not in the habit of giving anyone a bad review. I felt very disappointed when I recently sent my mother some flowers through the post as a big thankyou for being such a lovely person and helping her family through all sorts of trials and tribulations. She truly is a special woman and never asks anything of anyone. Always there to lend a hand to anyone. I wanted to thank her for being her and sent her a bunch of lavender haze. When she showed me them they were a skimpy bunch that were quite pittiful looking. Being the person she is she thanked me and asked me not to spend money on flowers for her and that i need my money!!. I would have had a better bunch from Asda at £10-15 as they are beautiful and last ages. Very dissapointed.

My order arrived a day early so my sister was out.The flowers didn't look like the picture I saw and so I was very disappointed on what I had paid for.Will not use this service again.

We cannot guarantee any specific dates unless the courier is paid for. We do ask a preferred delivery date then we send out 2 working days prior this date if possible, so that a special occasion is not missed. Our flowers are also despatched whilst still in bud so the arrangement will look slightly smaller than the image displayed online when it arrives; this is to ensure a maximum vase life and limit damage during transit. The stems will need to be placed in luke warm water to encourage the buds to open. However if you do still find yourself unhappy once the flowers have opened please do not hesitate to contact us either at flowers@bunches.co.uk or 0800 626 249 and we will be happy to help. The orchid plant I ordered arrived on time and was of good quality but the flowers were cream, although the illustration that I ordered from was a beautiful pink, I was disappointed and felt BUNCHES had misled me. Also the chocolates were not chocolates but chocolate drops apparently, according to the recipient. I felt I'd been misled about this also. So altogether a somewhat disappointing experience.

Thank you for your comments Elaine. I am pleased to hear the Phalaenopsis Orchid arrived on time and was of good quality. However sorry to hear you were disappointed with the colour, it does show on our website a picture of a pink and a cream Orchid and it does state that Phalaenopsis Orchid Colours may vary according to supply. I do apologise for any upset this has caused.

The flowers were ok but the order was supposed to include an offer of FREE chocolates which were not forthcoming!!

I was rather unhappy as my delivery arrived a day later than listed on the confirmation order. I did lodge a complaint as it was for a birthday and really should have arrived on the date listed. I received a response from Hannah Brandham and she has been great. She has informed the IT department of the issue with the incorrect dates being listed and has arranged to have the additional next day delivery fee reversed. Based on the service I have received from Hannah, I would consider using Bunches.co.uk again.

the gift was lovely once it eventually arrived. It was however, very disappointing that my specific delivery instructions were ignored, and my friends birthday present turned up a day late. I don't think I will trust using bunches again, as the customer services response wasn't very good either. There wasn't enough room in the delivery instructions for me to explain exactly why I needed the package to be left in the safety of the corridor or with a neighbour, I knew that this would be a safe place, and less of an upheaval than my friend having to go to a FEDEX depot the following day to collect. I don't see the point in asking for specific instructions, if bunches couriers don't follow your specific requests. I felt terrible that my friend thought I had forgotten her birthday. Insult to injury, bunches didn't care either.

Thank you for your review Lynne. We are sorry to hear you have been unhappy with the delivery service provided, unfortunately if the recipient is not in at the time of delivery a calling card will be put through the door with details of how the recipient can either collect the flowers or have them redelivered at a more convenient time. I do believe your delivery instruction was to be left with a neighbour, however as your delivery was to a block of flats the delivery driver was unable to gain access to the building. I do apologise for the inconvenience and upset this matter has caused.

I have used your company many times, but this time for the money I paid there weren't that many flowers. The butterflies were lovely but disappointed with amount of flowers. I understand I only bought the standard bouquet but in the past there have been more in the bunch,

Was not pleased with my Order I thought they would come already assembled not worth the money also was delivered a day to early.

Thank you for your comments Janet. I am sorry you have been disappointed on this occasion. Some of our smaller boxes are designed for the flowers to be packaged in a way that completely protects them, but means they are more likely to incur damage if arranged. With bouquets delivered in these boxes we find that it is safer for the flowers if we do not professionally arrange them before we pack them. We shoot our bouquets in full bloom to show how lovely they will look when they are fully open and arranged in a vase. With regards to the delivery, you did choose the first class post delivery which is a 1-2 day service and we dispatch 2 days prior to the date requested so we can ensure the gift arrives on time. Please accept our apologies again for any inconvenience caused.

Flowers were broken most likely due to handling .... Flowers were not as full as those in the picture ... Should have gone to waitrose really

Thank you for your comments Bobbie, After looking into your order further I can see that you had ordered a hamper, all hamper deliveries are sent on a special recorded delivery and an email with the tracking details has been sent to your email address. I can confirm the gift was delivered and signed for by your recipient on the date requested.

i was very disappointed on this occasion. i specifically asked for this posy to be delivered after 10am on Saturday to my sons new fiancee. meanwhile itarrived at 8am on Friday and woke them up. what would have happened if they would have been away till Saturday

My daughter thought the packing extremely good but was disappointed with flowers. I asked for delivery on a Friday but it was delivered on the Thursday.

The flowers that arrived were good quality but there simply weren't enough there for the cost of the bouquet.

I was disappointed with the quality of the flowers received. They didn't look as healthy as those on the website and there were a couple of dead leaves. There was also a large hole in the side of the box they arrived in, but I assume that's more likely to be the fault of Fed Ex who delivered the parcel.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my daughter & son Inlaw. It was they're 1st wedding anniversary. I order them for the Saturday. Firstly I was very disappointed how small the bouquet was for the price. Secondly I knew they were away till late Friday evening. Which is why I ordered them for Saturday. Instead they came Friday, some had withered in the box , as didn't come home till Saturday early hours. No card or anything threw the door. It was Saturday evening by the time we got them. Being stuck in box for so long. Also it states free chocolates, was not expecting bag of buttons. Would not recommend. I'm so upset and disappointed in quality.???????? mrs Marlene Felstead
